Creating a Library of Life

Museums are more than a place for kids to learn about science.
They’re libraries of life that reveal the secrets of millions of species’ DNA. Secrets that will shape out tomorrow. The Florida Museum of Natural History can lead the charge. The Florida Museum of Natural History is taking a leading role by creating a Library of Life with the power to accelerate the pace of scientific breakthroughs. This expansion will create a state-of-the-art home for the museum’s Special Collections and build on the success of the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity with additional collection and collaboration spaces.
